Greetings fellow Sackvillians and friends of
Sackville!
Welcome
to Episode 9 of Stories from Sackville.
This
is our first ever Christmas episode. We talk about Ghosts of Christmas Past.
From
the Christmas Wish Book to Christmas songs to Christmas television specials to
Christmas movies. We discuss a wide gamut of things as we reminisce about
Christmases of the past.
We
also tackle the most controversial Christmas debate. No, not the Merry
Christmas vs. Happy Holidays debate (though we do briefly touch on that). We settle
once and for all the question of whether or not Die Hard is a Christmas movie.
We
also remember Sondra Locke (1944-2018) and Penny Marshall (1943-2018).
As always, we hope that this stimulates more discussion, so we encourage you all to tell us, on the Facebook page, stories about your favourite Christmas memories.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy Chanunaka, Happy Kwanzaa! However you choose to celebrate (or not), we hope you have a joyous holiday.
You can e-mail us with questions, suggestions,
or comments at: storiesfromsackville@gmail.com, and you can find us on the Stories From Sackville Facebook
page.
