Episode 8: Our Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling Episode

Greetings fellow Sackvillians and friends of Sackville!

Welcome to Episode 8 of Stories from Sackville.

We have a question for y'all. Are you ready to rumble? I can't HEAR you. Are YOU ready to rumble? Tonight we jump into the squared ring. We're talkin' wrasslin'! And not just any wrasslin'. Oh no...we are talkin'  the mighty Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling.

We do a deep dive into wrestling. We cover many things and wrestlers in this episode. There are some terms we define in the episode:

Kayfabe:           pretending the staged storylines are real and that the wrestlers are actually enemies
Face:               from "Babyface"; the good guy
Heel:                the bad guy.

We touch on some of the local greats (Leo Burke and Big Stephen Pettipas) and some wrestlers from away who became local favourites (Killer Karl Krupp).

As always, we hope that this stimulates more discussion, so we encourage you all to tell us, on the Facebook page, stories about your favourite wrestlers.

And, as always, thanks to all of you who have commented so far.

You can e-mail us with questions, suggestions, or comments at: storiesfromsackville@gmail.com, and you can find us on the Stories From Sackville Facebook page.
