Episode 22: Our cars episode

Greetings fellow Sackvillians and friends of Sackville!

Welcome to Episode 22 of Stories from Sackville.

In this episode, we discuss cars: the cars we drove, the cars we wish we could drive.

Steve explains the "Stories from Sackville effect", and Peter's lovely wife makes a brief cameo. We also talk a bit about the Facebook page.

Along the way, we had a few drinks and told a few stories. We hope you like them.

As always, we hope that this stimulates more discussion, so we encourage you all to tell us, on the Facebook page, what cars did you drive? Were they lemons? Did you drive through your parents' front steps or drive onto the front lawn of Steve's parents, getting him in trouble? Let us know.

And, as always, thanks to all of you who have commented so far.

You can e-mail us with questions, suggestions, or comments at: storiesfromsackville@gmail.com.

Episode 19: Our April Wine tribute episode

Greetings fellow Sackvillians and friends of Sackville!

Welcome to Episode 19 of Stories from Sackville.

In this episode, we talk about a local band done good. They are, perhaps, they most successful band to come out of Halifax. Yes, we discuss the career of April Wine.

Steve is the expert on the band, but Peter has some stories to tell. Ping Pong, fist fights, rare tunes, The Rolling Stones, and Oscar Wilde all get mentioned in this episode (as does Dave Brodbeck).

Sit back and groove to some tunes. Oh and play them LOUD!.

As always, we hope that this stimulates more discussion, so we encourage you all to tell us, on the Facebook page, what are some of your memories of April Wine? Let us know.

And, as always, thanks to all of you who have commented so far.
