Greetings fellow Sackvillians and friends of
Sackville!
Welcome to
Episode 5 of Stories from Sackville.
So this is
one of those episodes that happen every once in a while. One of those
embarrassing ones in which one of us gets a bit too drunk. Tonight was Steve’s
turn. As the intro message says, he is suitably embarrassed. Just roll your
eyes at him and move on. He hopes it doesn’t ruin the enjoyment of the episode.
Peter claims
that "transparency" is the podcasts motto. Steve thought it was
"Sho' me the money". Apparently, he was wrong. Anyway, what that means is that we'll always
post an episode: the good, the bad, and the ugly.
We have
implemented new rules about pacing our drinks as a result. We are calling it
the Steve rule.
Today’s
episode celebrates the legacy of Freddie Mercury who died Novemeber 24, 1991.
To make us all feel old: that was 27!!!! Years ago. We also take some time to
remember some other singers (Chris Cornell in particular).
As always, we
hope that this stimulates more discussion, so we encourage you all to post your
stories about your favourite teachers and your favourite stories on the
Facebook page.
And, as
always, thanks to all of you who have commented so far.
